I'm Mike and I'm a self tought graphite penciller. I'm not an artist yet: I lack originallity yet. But I'm developing myself towards my true ideas and maybe one day I might be considered as one :). Sometimes I draw with pen, but not too serious. I love a great spectra of art, wether it's digital or traditional. All corners have their attractive sites and each work have their own unique powers. I can appreciate others work to look both sub- and objective. I take the time a drawing needs. It means very long-term drawings mostly. I just want every detail in it cause it is just me. I'm a perfectionist, and I'm a heavy self-critic. I actually don't like my works when I'm done, but I do enjoy "the making of" alot and drawing temporairly escapes me from a terrifying world that is fearsome, stressfull and status-loving.

I am a direct person, but I tend not to be rude to others if they don't give me a very good reason. But if it comes to that point... I'll remember it. You can go far with me, but when I'm sick of it: it is really OVER. I don't bother with speeches like "My art is better then yours", "Gridding and tracing = cheating", "realsim is like you just could take a photo instead". Everyone has their opinion and mine is that I'm a free-hander and I let people decide what works best for them. After all: it just tells nothing about their ideas, originallity or the devotion they put in their works! So I'm open-minded to art, unless it is stolen/copied.

My personal high-likes goes to the ones with devotion, passion and love and mostly with a great sense of balance and originallity. I only try motivate people that think "they can't draw" and just dare not to post. I've come from the great depths too ;). I mean, what can you possibly loose?

I'm in no artclub. I think I need to earn it to be discovered. I will have to feauture them everywhere once I join... nope, I'll keep the honor for hard work to myself!

Art makes the world go round! =)

By conveying what that inspires me, and what others can relate to, spurs me as an artist to keep drawing and improving.
